2013 Midwest Scholars Conference - Shifting Sands: Reimagining Scholarship, Theory, and Practice.

Keynote Speaker: Regan A.R. Gurung, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay
Invited Talk: Marilyn Johnston-Parsons, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Proposals requested:
You are encouraged to share your ideas, research, or scholarly works with fellow attendees at the 2013 Midwest Scholars Conference. There are many ways to participate: paper presentations, poster sessions, and an Undergraduate Research track. Please see the official “Request for Proposals” (attached).

Submit your proposal at by November 15, 2012.

IACTE Meeting on November 2

IACTE Colleagues –

I do hope that each of you is enjoying the wonderful fall weather and colors.  Our next IACTE meeting is Friday, November 2nd.  We have a very interesting meeting planned, highlighted by guests from TeachingWorks  ( ).  Please advise me of your plans to attend ( no later than Monday, October 29th  .   All the specifics are below:

A note to the IDOE representatives (IACTE Meeting - September 21st)

IACTE Colleagues –

As noted earlier this week, the IACTE Executive Committee did forward a note to the IDOE representatives, Rob Love and Joe Anderson, who were at our September 21st meeting.  Below is the message seeking confirmation of the information that they shared and questions that were raised re: the testing transition.  We have received their responses to the testing questions; see notes below.  We have not received a formal confirmation of the summary noted, but we have shared with them our understandings.
