School of Ed Students: IABSE 2016 African American Scholarship Opportunity

Colleagues –

Noted below is a message from the Indianapolis Alliance of Black School Educators, along with a flyer re: the 2016 scholarships available to education candidates.

Scholarship Application Timeframe: August 1, 2016-Sept. 5, 2016

The event will be Friday, September 23rd.  Please mark your calendars.

Dear Colleagues,

Attached find a document announcing the availability for up to 5 scholarship awards for African-American students enrolled in Indiana's Schools of Education. Included are the qualifications for students who are seeking the awards and information about the student networking forum and awards event on September 23, 2016. Please stress to applicants that the entire packet must be submitted as ONE SET of information along with the cover sheet attesting they have included all information. Because the number of students who apply is growing, we WILL NOT match up separate information that is NOT included with the original packet. Additionally, students should include their latest ORIGINAL transcript with their information packet. Thank you for your efforts to distribute this opportunity to our students. We hope that this early announcement will provide students with a timeframe and the clarity needed that will allow them to respond in a timely manner for consideration for the awards.
