IACTE Summit 2019 Save the Date

IACTE Colleagues -

I do hope that the end of the academic year has gone well and that you might find time to relax a bit over the summer.  Your IACTE Executive Committee remains at work in planning a two-day Summit for the fall. Attached and below is a "Save the Date" announcement that we encourage you to share with colleagues and faculty at your institution.  Also, the conference will include sessions allowing faculty and/or graduate students the opportunity to share innovations, initiatives and best practices in teacher education.  Attached is the Call for Proposalswith an initial deadline set for August 2nd. Please share this broadly among your colleagues.

Registration and additional details will be sent out early in August.

Enjoy!

IACTE Summit - November 2

IACTE Colleagues -

Your professional organization is hosting an important summit on Friday, November 2nd at Butler University, South Campus. The Summit will feature Teresa Lubbers, Commissioner for Higher Education and Lynn Gangone, President of AACTE.  The focus of presentations and discussions throughout the day will be Working Together to Recruit and Retain High Quality Teachers.

We encourage each of you to share the attached flyer with colleagues and community and school representatives who have a vested interest in  this important topic. Our goal is that each member will bring 3-4 individuals with them. A link to registration is on the flyer, and is copied below for your convenience.
